BIG MAC (*2012)
Hey there, everyone! I’m Big Mac, and nope, I’m not talking about the fast-food burger – though I do have a big heart and a size to match among my friends. Picture me as that kind-hearted giant you often hear about. I’m a Namibian Warmblood, so naturally, I’ve got this gentle and soft side to me.
In the arena, I might take a bit to get into my groove, but once I’m there, I’ve got some pretty cool moves to show off. And when it comes to those relaxing trail rides, I’m the go-to guy, especially for the gents. I can carry their weight with ease, making our rides smooth and enjoyable.

CASPER (*2013)
Hello there, folks! I’m Casper, and in pictures, I might look like this magnificent big white horse, but surprise, surprise, I’m actually a pony! Despite my size, I’m a real sweetheart – easy to ride and handle. I take immense pleasure in making the little ones feel secure on my back, guiding them through everything from the basics of walking, trotting, and cantering, to the thrill of jumping.
When it comes to trail rides, I’m on my best behaviour. I love giving first-time kids the chance to experience a safe and enjoyable adventure. I pride myself on being obedient, especially with those young riders, ensuring that their first trail ride is not just fun, but also a memorable and secure experience.

GIGOLO (*2003)
I’m Gigolo, the dashing Trakehner gelding who’s been adding a touch of glamour to this school since 2012. Don’t let my 20 years fool you – I’ve got more sparkle than a glitter factory!
With a whopping 400 riders in my repertoire, teaching has become my speciality. Safety’s my middle name (okay, not really, but it should be). If you’re a fresh face in the saddle, guess who’s going to make sure your first riding experience is safer than a marshmallow in a padded room? Yep, it’s me, Gigolo, here to make your stirrup steps not just safe, but enjoyable and utterly unforgettable.
And hey, when I’m not busy being a teaching superstar, I’m a thrill-seeking adventurer! Trail rides? Check. Swimming escapades? Double check. These aren’t just hobbies for me; they’re full-blown passions.

GOLDEN WIZZARD (*?)
Hey there, folks! The name’s Golden Wizzard, but you can just call me Wizzy. According to my humans, I’m a bit of a special blend – a hony, you know, a mix between a horse and a pony. But trust me, I lean more towards the horse side of things.
I’ve got a real passion for jumping and cantering around, but you know what I love the most? Trail rides and swimming. There’s something magical about exploring new trails and feeling the water rush around me.
In the fields, I like to imagine myself as this elegant Western horse, gracefully galloping through the open spaces.

KIARA (*2009)
Greetings, I am Kiara, the respected mare in this equine kingdom. As the only queen among geldings, I take pride in maintaining order.
I am kind yet firm, and I prefer things done my way, at my own pace. Group activities, especially in the arena, don’t quite suit my taste. I thrive best when I’m at the centre of attention, where I can impart my wisdom.
I boast skills in both jumping and dressage, showcasing my elegance and precision.

LANICIO (*2014)
I’m Lanicio, a sophisticated warmblood bred for the competitive arena, but I’ve chosen a different path – one filled with leisure, laughter, and the delightful chaos of kids. While my pedigree might suggest a life of medals and ribbons, I find my joy in the simplicity of fun.
With a schooling that sets me apart, I prefer the company of intermediate to advanced riders in the arena. My enthusiasm sometimes makes me a bit too eager for beginners, but work with me from the ground, and you’ll find I’m the epitome of ease.
On our trail rides, I step into a leadership role, guiding my fellow equine friends with graceful strides. I take pride in ensuring everyone follows my confident lead, making our adventures safe and enjoyable for all.

ORTELLO (*2008)
I’m Ortello, the pocket-sized dynamo who pranced into this school alongside my buddy, Recourse, in 2016. Despite my vertically challenged status, I pack more punch than a heavyweight champ!
You see, I may take two steps for every one the big horses make, but what I lack in height, I make up for in spunk. I’m the pint-sized wonder who believes I can do everything those towering giants can – and you know what? I usually can!
Jumping? Dressage? Piece of cake! But oh, when it comes to galloping on the track, I’m like a speeding bullet – faster than the wind itself! It’s my absolute favorite thing, and I do it with style.

RESOURCE (*2007)
I’m Recourse, a retired South African thoroughbred racehorse who found a new calling at this riding school in 2016. While I used to chase victory on the racetrack, these days, I prefer the gentle life.
I’m a follower by nature and love trailing along with my buddies during trail rides. My legs aren’t the sturdiest, so I’m a great match for lady or petite riders, especially those taking their first canter steps. I might not be a jumper, but I excel at providing a safe and joyful canter experience for beginners.
WATANI (*2002)
Hey there, everyone! I’m Watani, but let’s not talk about age, because you’re only as young as you feel, right? I might be small, but I’m what they call dynamite in a tiny package. I’m definitely the youngest in the group, or at least, that’s what I like to believe (even if it’s not true).
I started off as a regular school pony, but guess what? I showed everyone that I’m a star! Jumping is my absolute favourite thing in the world. I’ve even competed in the highest classes in Namibia and aced it. I love demonstrating my skills to the kids – it’s like my superpower.
One thing about me, though, is that I don’t like being alone. Nope, not a fan. I always need another horse close by (okay, maybe not really, but let’s pretend I do). It just makes life more interesting, you know?
SANSUELO (*2008)
Hello, world! I’m Sansuelo, the fresh face around here. Back in the day, I was a sport horse, but I waved goodbye to that fast-paced life. Now, I’ve found my peace in the gentle laughter of kids and the tranquillity of a relaxed existence. Stress? No thank you, I prefer the simple joys.
I’m a Namibian Warmblood, and elegance is practically my middle name. Watch me move and jump, and you’ll see what I mean – grace personified.
Nature and trails are where my heart truly belongs. There’s something magical about the rustle of leaves and the whisper of the wind that soothes my soul. I’m a horse who thrives on love and kindness. That’s what makes me truly shine
