1. Riding Appearl

1.1 Footwear must have heels; tennis shoes are not allowed. Riding style boots are recommended; sandals and slip-on shoes are prohibited.

1.2 Long pants are mandatory; shorts, dresses, and skirts are not allowed. Stretch pants or riding pants are recommended.

1.3 All riders must wear an approved horse riding helmet. Please purchase a helmet as soon as possible.

1.4 Riders must be at least 4 years old to participate. There is a weight restriction of 85kg for lessons and 100kg for trail rides.

2. Attendance 

2.1 There will be no makeup lessons for cancellations made by the rider or parent. Missed lessons will be charged in full. School-cancelled lessons will be rescheduled based on availability.

2.2 No lessons will be held on public holidays, and there will be no makeup lessons for these.

2.3 Punctuality is essential. Lessons will be dismissed if the rider is more than 15 minutes late.

3. Schedule Changes 

3.1 Mounted classes will be cancelled in case of rain, lightning, thunder, high winds, or excessive temperatures. Ground lessons/theory lessons will be scheduled instead.

3.2 Lessons may be rescheduled by the instructor due to riding competitions or training.

3.3 We follow a 4-week-per-month schedule. In months with 5 weeks, no lessons will take place. Notification will be provided for these weeks.

4. General Policies 

4.1 Children should not approach horses or feed them without permission.

4.2 During lessons, parents/guardians and friends are not allowed in or around the arenas to prevent distractions for riders.

4.3 Smoking is strictly prohibited on stable premises.

5. Payments 

5.1 Payments must be made prior to the start of each month, by the 28th (applies to all EFT payments). Cash payments are accepted until the 1st of every month.

5.1.2 Please note that if payments are not received by the due date, the rider’s next lesson will be cancelled without rescheduling. Timely monthly payments are essential.

5.2 The riding school is closed for the entire months of December and January.

5.3 Fees must still be paid during school holidays, with possible reductions during December and January. Please understand that horse-related expenses persist even when lessons are not held.

5.4 Riding fees may be reduced or waived in cases of financial need or stabling increase.

5.5 No refunds will be issued.

5.6 One month’s written notice must be given before permanent lesson cancellations, or one month’s full lesson/cancellation fees must be paid (before the 1st).

5.7 If lessons are terminated after October 1st, full November fees and 50% of December and January fees will apply.

6. Before the First Lesson 

6.1 Complete the online application form.

6.2 Settle fees; cash payments are accepted on the first day of the lesson.

6.3 Complete the RGKW Membership form and payment, to be made directly to RGKW Club.

6.4 Lessons will not proceed if the above points are not met, and full charges will still apply.
